2005: Traded to Chargers from Miami Oct. 18...inactive as third quarterback Week 7-17.

2004: Played in 11 games, including eight starts, in his first season with the Dolphins... Connected on 191 of 356 passes for 1,893 yards with 11 touchdowns and 15 interceptions... Made his Dolphins debut in opener vs. Tennessee (9/11) when he played the entire second half and completed 21 of 31 for 168 yards with one touchdown and one interception... Completion percentage of 67.7 percent marked a season-high and is the second-best figure of his career... Made his first start as a Dolphin the following week at Cincinnati (9/19)... Also opened contest vs. Pittsburgh (9/26)... Served as backup to Jay Fiedler for next six games, four of which he did not appear... In preseason, completed 26 of 43 passes (60.5%) for 223 yards with three touchdowns and one interception. 2002 - Played in six games, starting five of them... Completed 86 of 154 passes for 1,011 yards with six touchdowns and five interceptions... Was designated as the third quarterback for each of the first ten games of the season... Became primary backup for 11th contest, in Monday night affair at San Francisco (11/25)... Entered the 49ers game in the third quarter when starter Koy Detmer left the contest with an elbow injury... Connected on all three of his pass attempts in that game, totaling 17 yards, including a touchdown... First attempt in that game went for a one-yard TD pass to Chad Lewis... Eagles went on to win the game, 38-17... Started each of the final five contests and led the Eagles to a 4-1 record during that time... Both touchdown passes went to WR Dameane Douglas, including a 24-yarder with 1:46 to play as he guided the Eagles back to a 17-13 victory... First touchdown pass of NFL career was a two-yard toss to Douglas earlier in the final quarter... Was designated as the third QB for all three playoff matchups... Transaction History: Acquired by the Dolphins in a trade with Philadelphia on March 3, 2004 in exchange for a second-round draft choice in 2005... Originally the second of two fifth-round draft choices (155th overall) of Philadelphia in 2001.

College:
Lettered four years (1997-2000) in his collegiate career at Oregon... Started eight of the 22 games in which he played and completed 149 of 282 passes for 2,175 yards with 15 touchdowns and six interceptions... Single... Girlfriend, Heather Mitts, was a defender on the 2004 U.S. Women’s Olympic soccer team which won the Gold Medal... Was a two-time Greater League Offensive Player of the Year and a first-team All-State Class 3A selection at Ontario (Ore.) High School... In his career, threw for 5,428 yards and 59 touchdowns... Also played safety in his prep career and intercepted 12 passes... Starred on the school’s basketball team as well, and was recruited to play basketball by several Big Sky Conference colleges... Father, W.M., is a math teacher at the high school he attended and is the head of baseball officials for the Scenic West Athletic Conference... His mother, Linda Larson, is the principal at Emmett Elementary School in Idaho... Since joining the Dolphins, has taken part in Habitat for Humanity and the team’s annual charity fishing tournament, while also having made several hospital visits... During the 2004 offseason, took part in the NFL Challenge held in the Cayman Islands... This past offseason, started his own foundation called “Future For Kids”...
