The 6-3, 260-pound Foley is entering his seventh season in the league, having spent the first five seasons of his career (1998-2002) with Cincinnati and the 2003 season with the Texans. Foley played in 13 games for Houston last season, starting three. He finished the season with 30 tackles, one sack, a forced fumble and a pass defensed. In five seasons with Cincinnati, Foley collected 158 tackles, 9.5 sacks, one interception, 10 passes defensed, five forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. He missed the 2002 season as he was placed on the “Reserve-Injured” list with a shoulder injury. Foley originally joined the Bengals as a third-round draft choice in 1998. He was the 75th player selected in the draft after a standout collegiate career at Northeast Louisiana. Former Chargers quarterback Stan Humphries also played at NE Louisiana. As a senior in 1997 Foley led the nation with 18.5 sacks, including a school-record 5.5 in a game against Central Florida.
