Milligan was born on Nov. 3, 1979 in U.S. Virgin Islands. He was
an all-county choice and defensive most valuable player at Coconut Creek
High School in Coconut Creek, Florida.
The Chargers used their sixth-round pick (188th
overall) in the 2003 NFL Draft to land Hanik Milligan from the University
of Houston. Regarded by some as one of the hardest hitters in college football,
